Do I need a referral? No. Under NYCE PPO you can see an in-network behavioral health provider, including a psychiatrist, without a referral from your primary care doctor.
What will it cost? The published specialist copay for participating NYCE PPO providers is $30. Your exact cost depends on your specific plan; we verify your benefits and copay during intake so you know your cost upfront. Therapy with our licensed therapist is self-pay and is not billed through NYCE PPO.
How soon can I be seen? We aim for same-week appointments for most new patients in nearly all cases. After you complete the 2–3 minute intake form, we verify your NYCE PPO coverage and match you with a NY-licensed clinician.
Where are visits held? All visits are virtual via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. No commute, no waiting room. You must be physically located in New York State at the time of your visit.
Who provides care? Amy Pharr, APRN, PMHNP-C, a NY-licensed psychiatric clinician, provides psychiatric evaluation and medication management. Adam Howell, LCSW, provides therapy on a self-pay basis.
